Local MP Ayoub Khan Opens Community Hub at Birchfield Primary School
The initiative has been made possible through partnerships with several key organisations, including Spurgeons and Satthi House, both of which are dedicated to supporting families and promoting community engagement.
The Community Hub aims to create a welcoming environment where parents can develop new skills, build confidence, and connect with others in the community.
Following the ribbon-cutting ceremony, Mr. Khan was given a guided tour of the school by Birchfield’s head girl and head boy. They proudly showcased the school’s facilities and spoke about the positive impact that the new Community Hub will have on families within the area.
Mr. Khan also had the opportunity to meet with the school council, a group of dedicated pupil representatives who shared their thoughts and concerns about local issues. The pupils posed insightful questions about Mr. Khan’s role as an MP and raised topics that matter most to the community, including education, public services, and opportunities for young people.
Speaking about the visit, Mr. Khan expressed his admiration for Birchfield Primary School’s commitment to fostering a strong sense of community and supporting both students and their families.
Birchfield Primary School extends its gratitude to Ayoub Khan for taking the time to visit and engage with both students and parents. The school looks forward to seeing the Community Hub thrive and continue to benefit the local community for years to come.
